When I lived in Poland, we shared jokes with friends from artistic circles (tudzież belch) and reflections linking them with such a hashtag. Later, from Cambodia, I wrote small reports from my new everyday life for my friends and relatives,  little ironies and abstractions. These little things, sketches of stories and absurd situations helped me to get used to the new place.

 

The incorrect spelling of the phrase "this feeling" in several ways reflects the peculiarity of Khmer reality so well. Cambodia's nonsense deepens the insensitivity of its people, simply ignorance of the "logical contradictions" of their own country. At least from the point of view of a Western man who may sometimes be surprised by the meaning not immediately perceptible and available to his rational mind.

 

This thought has often come to me:

 

Since only I seem to see rubbish, individuals and absurdities, and the locals are unaware of them ... Where is the problem? Who has it?
